Frequently Asked Questions

How long until my garments arrive? Orders will be shipped within 3-4 weeks of purchase. All garments are made-to-order. That means I don't start cutting until you hit "purchase". This helps reduce waste (yay!) and causes production times to vary. I know you're excited to start wearing your Jocie by Hand garments and I promise it's worth the wait. 

What size should I get? Each garment has size specifications in the description. Body measurements are suggestions for the size that you should order based on your chest, waist, and hips. Garment measurements are more or less the sizes of the finished garments. However, you may choose to size up or down depending on the fit you want. If you have questions about sizing, reach out! On the topic of sizing, size inclusivity is really important to me. I hope to continue expanding the sizes offered. If your body measurements are not reflected in the garments, please reach out! 

Do you accept exchanges and returns? Because garments are made-to-order, we do not accept exchanges and returns at this time. That said, if you're not satisfied with your order, I want to know about it! Please reach out and we can figure something out. 

Who makes my clothes? I do! Me, Jocie! Though I often use the royal "we" it's a one lady show around here. 

How should I care for my Jocie by Hand garments? Linen is pretty forgiving and all garments have gotten two pre-washes. That said, there is still a possibility that they will shrink. I suggest washing on cold with like colors and either hanging dry or giving them a few minutes in the dyer. You can iron your garments if you'd like or leave it wrinkly like I do - life's too short to iron linen imho.
